This adorable baby was photographed at 2 days old. I still can't believe how quickly us momma's forget how little these babies are when they are first born! Maelie's mom and dad chose not to find out what they were having (i don't know how people do it, haha!), so Maelie's arrival was even more exciting, since they already have a son. I can't wait to visit them at home soon to capture some sibling pictures!
I'm so glad these girls' mommy contacted me to take their pictures! They were a few weeks early and had to remain in the NICU for a few weeks before heading home, so they missed out on getting their pictures taken in the hospital (it'd be hard to Photoshop all those tubes and wires out!). So they came to me after being home for a short time :-) They also brought their proud older brother and sister with them...fun! Check them out:
She isn't exactly a newborn anymore...a month has already flown by!! Last time I saw this couple, they were anxious and ready to meet their new baby girl. This past weekend, they drove 2 and a half hours to visit us and show off sweet Kyla! How quickly you forget how little these precious baby girls are in the first few weeks. Kyla is already super strong, holds her head up, and practically rolls over!
