Mother's Day is right around the corner! This Mother's Day will be unlike any other Mother's Day for me...this year I have my own little bundle of joy :-) Although I guess I was technically a mother last year at this time, Rylie was still growing inside my belly, so it was different. Let's hope that Daddy helps Rylie think of the best Mother's Day gifts!! Although I would honestly just settle for some extra special snuggles...
In honor of Mother's Day (and the fact that I set up a new home studio), I decided to schedule some Mini Sessions for my amazing mommy friends. I snapped some quick picks of these mommas and their baby(ies). Boy was it great practice for me! Kids are tough to photograph...haha! And, while I enjoyed working in the studio environment, I think it is much easier to snap photos of toddlers outside in open spaces....it is pretty difficult to get them to sit in any one spot for longer than a second...and even if they are sitting still, they will probably still refuse to look at the camera!
But I managed to get a few shots to share here...
